Crystal Palace interested in signing 'fantastic' £15m forward

Why Chelsea FINALLY Turned A Corner.

Crystal Palace want to bolster their attack and are interested in signing Southampton striker Che Adams according to the latest reports.

That is according to talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook.

So, what’s the latest on Che Adams? Let’s take a look…

What’s the story?

Reporting on Palace’s interest in Che Adams was talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook. He said: “Interest mounting in Saints FC striker Che Adams. Nothing advanced yet CPFC and FFC among the Premier League clubs who are keen. Would command a fee of around £15m.”

The Eagles never signed another striker after Christian Benteke left and only have two natural strikers at the club in Odsonne Edouard and Jean-Philippe Mateta.

Southampton were relegated from the Premier League last season so it is no shock to see some of their players attract top-flight interest.

The Eagles will want to strengthen their squad in the hope that they can finish in the top half of the Premier League next season.

Crystal Palace want Che Adams

It is no shock to see us want to sign another forward. Wilfried Zaha is now technically a free agent and no forward scored ten goals or over last season.

Mateta only managed two goals across the whole season. Palace definitely need a striker who can consistently score over ten goals a season.

Che Adams is arguably not the answer. The Englishman has never managed to score over ten Premier League goals in a single campaign.

He can be “fantastic” at times and his best tally is nine, but to spend £15million on a player who has never been massively consistent seems like a bad decision.

There are definitely better options out there for better prices and due to this, we should definitely steer clear of signing the striker.

It is a big summer for Palace as they look to build on another solid season in the Premier League. We have been in the division for over a decade so hopefully we soon start to show some proper ambition and push higher up the league.
