Why Chelsea FINALLY Turned A Corner.
Crystal Palace are interested in signing Everton winger Demarai Gray during the summer transfer window to bolster their attack next season.
That’s according to The Daily Mail.
So what are the details involving Demarai Gray? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
A lot of the transfer news around Crystal Palace lately has been about the future of Wilfried Zaha, per The Daily Mail. His contract expires at the end of June and we could lose the club legend on a free transfer.
Now, reports are starting to circulate around possible replacements. It looks like Demarai Gray is a possible option for us this summer.
The Daily Mail claims that Palace are showing an interest in signing Gray during the current transfer window. Apparently, the winger is set to leave Goodison Park as Everton need to raise funds to ease their financial position.
Palace are monitoring his situation but they are not the only club interested. Al’Hilal are also wanting to sign him this summer.
Demarai Gray would add some much-needed attacking depth to Palace
Although the Everton winger would not be a great replacement for Zaha due to the Ivorian being a lot better, Gray would add some much-needed attacking depth to our side.
The Eagles have some good options up-front. Despite this, they don’t have many attacking options to come off the bench in Gray’s position.
The ‘magic‘ dribbler would perhaps not be good enough to start some games for the club, but he could most-definitely be an option from the bench to give us some extra attacking product should we need it.
Gray, who won the Premier League with Leicester, has only scored four goals for Everton this season, so the club must not see him as a replacement for Zaha. The winger only moved to the Toffees for a reported £1.7million, so he should be a relatively cheap option for the Eagles.
