Fabrizio Romano claims Crystal Palace target has £13m price tag

Why Chelsea FINALLY Turned A Corner.

The latest news suggests that Leicester City have placed a price tag on Crystal Palace target Timothy Castagne amid interest.

That’s according to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano. According to other reports, Crystal Palace, as well as fellow Premier League sides Fulham and Bournemouth are interested in the defender.

What’s the story?

With Leicester now relegated, various players have been identified as possible transfers for current Premier League clubs this summer

Romano has reported that Leicester City have placed a price tag of around £13m on Timothy Castagne this summer. He also stated that Serie A side Juventus have opened talks to sign Castagne. It looks likely that Castagne will leave the Foxes this summer as many top-flight clubs are interested in him.

Castagne would be a solid signing for Crystal Palace

The Belgian international has been a solid defender and he could be a great coup for Crystal Palace if they are able to bring him to the club.

We desperately need a better all-round right-back. Joel Ward has been a great servant and Nathaniel Clyne has also been good for spells since re-signing. Despite this they are both towards the end of their career and definitely struggle more with the attacking aspects required in a modern full-back.

Castagne has proven that he can add an attacking threat whilst at Leicester. The 27 year-old would strengthen that full-back position. The FA Cup winner is also available for a fairly cheap price, and we know this will suit those in charge at Palace.

It is a huge summer at the club. We are yet to hire a new manager and the future of Wilfried Zaha is in doubt. If Palace want to push on next season then they need to show some ambition in the transfer window.
