Crystal Palace have been linked to exciting wonderkid Roony Bardghji and he would be a perfect signing.

There is no doubt that he could be a future Michael Olise replacement.

So why would Roony Bardghji be an ideal signing for Crystal Palace? Let’s take a look…

What’s the story?

Recent reports from journalist Alan Nixon have suggested that Crystal Palace are admirers of Roony Bardghji, who could leave Copenhagen in the near future.

Apparently the Eagles are one of many Premier League sides interested in the 18-year-old who stunned Manchester United with a winning goal against the club in the Champions League.

The right-winger looks a top talent and fits the profile of the type of players that the Eagles want to sign. The young player is of good quality and also has a very high ceiling.

He also has potential resale value and could be a signing the Eagles profit off long-term. Palace signings like Marc Guehi, Olise and Eberechi Eze all fit the similar profile.

Roony Bardghji would be ideal for Crystal Palace

It would be ideal to see Palace sign the player and he could no doubt replace Olise in the near future. Olise has recently been linked with Chelsea, who tried to sign him last summer. They have not given up signing the Frenchman.

Olise managed 11 assists in the Premier League last season and he is a top talent who will no doubt be sold to a bigger club in the near future.

Bardghji, who also plays on the right-wing, could definitely be seen as a future replacement for Olise. He has seven goals in 15 Superliga appearances this season.

If Palace could sign Bardghji soon, he could learn from the others at the club and not be thrusted into the starting lineup straight away.

The Swedish U21 international could then be ready the moment a big star like Olise departed and he definitely has the potential to fill the current Palace star’s boots.

If Palace want to push on they need to beat competition to top talent consistently. They have definitely managed to sign some top stars, and possible signings like Bardghji would be a huge statement of intent that they want to upset the top half of the division.
