Academy

The Crystal Palace academy has produced a number of first-team players in the south London outfit’s history. But who are the Eagles’ current group of Under-21 talents trying to make it to Selhurst Park?

First-team manager Roy Hodgson has a handful of previous Crystal Palace academy graduates in his squad today. Nathaniel Clyne returned for a second stint at Selhurst Park after honing his trade in the youth squads. Tyrick Mitchell is also a homegrown talent and is now a senior England international, too.

Darren Powell became the manager of Crystal Palace’s U21 academy side in March 2023. The Eagles promoted their ex-player after Paddy McCarthy joined Crystal Palace’s senior coaching staff. They play at Crystal Palace’s training ground, Selhurst Park or Sutton United’s VBS Community Stadium.
