A number of Crystal Palace academy graduates are in the squad today. Nathaniel Clyne returned for a second stint at Selhurst Park after honing his trade in the youth squads. Tyrick Mitchell is also a homegrown talent and is now a senior England international too.
Darren Powell became the manager of Crystal Palace’s U21 academy side in March 2023. The Eagles promoted their ex-player after Paddy McCarthy joined Crystal Palace’s senior coaching staff. They play at Crystal Palace’s training ground, Selhurst Park or Sutton United’s VBS Community Stadium.
