Crystal Palace fans have called on Steve Parish to hire Jose Mourinho as a replacement for Roy Hodgson in 2024.
The demands arose after Sky Italia claimed that the 60-year-old is expected to leave Roma when his contract expires at the end of the current campaign.

Crystal Palace fans want Jose Mourinho to replace Roy Hodgson
Well, this would be a shock appointment – to say the least – although these demands from the Crystal Palace fans are certainly not unsubstantiated.
Mourinho has openly praised Crystal Palace on a number of occasions over the years.
The Portuguese tactician famously nodded and applauded when Crystal Palace fans chanted “Jose, he’s a Palace fan” during a clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge back in 2015.
Long before that game – December 2013 to be exact – Mourinho again heaped praise on the Crystal Palace fans.
The Daily Mail quote the Setúbal-born tactician as saying: “Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic fans. They support their team until the end, they pushed them all the time. I was impressed with Palace today and I wish them well.”
These compliments have led to a widespread feeling within the fanbase that Mourinho loves Crystal Palace, and while that may be true, any move to appoint him in 2024 will surely cost Parish a lot.
Mourinho is believed to earn £116,422-a-week at Roma on a contract worth over £6m-a-year.
Nevertheless, some Crystal Palace fans want to see him in the Selhurst Park dugout.
One supporter wrote “sign me up” after hearing that Mourinho is likely to leave Roma in 2024.
Another fan posted that “it has to happen” as they pleaded with Parish.
Two more Crystal Palace fans commented on the situation.
One paid reference to those aforementioned comments by saying that Mourinho “loves” Crystal Palace while adding that they would love to see him appointed.
Another called Mourinho the “perfect successor” to Hodgson.
Last but not least, two other Crystal Palace fans shared their thoughts.
One claimed that they would forgive Parish for the underwhelming summer transfer window if he found a way to hire Mourinho.
A sixth supporter even said they would have Mourinho just for “one season” if they could.
Clearly, a number of Crystal Palace fans want Mourinho in SE25.
