Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has been treated strangely since Oliver Glasner arrived at Crystal Palace.
The talented England U21 international is yet to make a competitive appearance under the Austrian, and fell out of favour towards the end of his loan spell at Sheffield United last term despite a strong start.
Crystal Palace then saw fit to loan Jesurun Rak-Sakyi out to Caykur Rizespor, where he has sent a message to those back at Selhurst Park with an outstanding display in the Super Lig.

We have a lot of belief in the 22-year-old and feel he certainly has something to offer at Crystal Palace, a notion emphasised by his brilliant performance for Caykur Rizespor against Antalyaspor on Friday evening.
Rak-Sakyi curled a powerful strike into the far corner in just the fourth minute to put Caykur Rizespor ahead, before putting the Turkish side 3-1 up in the 48th minute with another clever strike.
They were important and well-taken goals at crucial stages of the game, sending a message to Glasner that he certainly has something to offer at Crystal Palace.

Once the current campaign ends, Rak-Sakyi will only have 12 months remaining on his contract, which expires in July 2027.
It means Steve Parish and Glasner – should he sign a new deal of his own – will need to sit down together and make a decision on what to do with the Crystal Palace academy graduate.
Bids of £15m were rejected for Rak-Sakyi in the summer of 2025, so he is a valuable talent, one Crystal Palace would be foolish to allow to leave on a free transfer in July 2027.
Therefore, the upcoming summer window needs to see Parish either decide to hand the winger a new contract and show some faith in him, or finally cash in and allow him to reignite his career elsewhere.
