As myself and other Crystal Palace fans looked at links to the likes of Chelsea flop Axel Disasi in disgust, the fact of the matter was that Steve Parish, Matt Hobbs and Pierre Sage were sniffing around the Brest wonderkid, who has been described as possibly the greatest talent the French side have produced in over 20 years.
Like Mingueza, absolutely no one had linked Le Guen to Crystal Palace before Friday night, when there was even speculation that the Frenchman had already undergone his medical.
