Schlupp still has his qualities, but he has not been great in attack this season. The player only has one goal despite playing on the left-wing for most games this season. He has no assists.
This season, the 30-year-old has been playing in the position vacated by Wilfried Zaha and he has just not provided in enough in attack. Now, with Palace playing a side nearer the bottom of the division in Luton, the club need attacking players able to break down a very tough defence. This is why Schlupp should be dropped for the match.

Hopefully this would see the attack have enough quality to overcome a Luton side who have become tough to beat at home.
The Eagles cannot be complacent in this match and desperately need the win so that they can look up the Premier League rather than down.
