Crystal Palace defender Tyrick Mitchell had a top performance against Nottingham Forest in the 0-0 draw on the weekend and he is becoming one of the most important players in the team at the moment.

Mitchell managed four tackles, two key passes and two accurate crosses. He was first in the Crystal Palace squad for all three of these statistics.
He also managed one interception and one clearance in the 0-0 draw as well. These stats saw him be the fourth-best player in the Palace squad according to WhoScored, with a 7.46 rating.
With the club having so many injuries, including one to their talisman Eberechi Eze, it is key that the defence are on top form.
The Eagles have kept the most clean sheets in the Premier League but they have also only scored seven goals. Until injured attackers return, performances like the one Mitchell managed against Nottingham Forest will be crucial.
