New reports are suggesting that Crystal Palace are apparently keeping an eye on AZ Alkmaar head coach Pascal Jansen.
That’s according to TEAMtalk.
So, what manager are Crystal Palace monitoring at the moment? Let’s tale a look…
What’s the story?
According to new reports TEAMtalk, two Premier League clubs are keeping an eye on the progress of Eredivisie manager Pascal Jansen.
The report goes on to say that ‘on the radar of a host of British clubs’, including Crystal Palace and fellow Premier League side Everton.
Apparently they are both earmarking Jansen as their next potential manager. With Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson only having one year left on his contract, it makes sense that the Eagles are looking for options.
The 50 year-old manager apparently appears ‘highly’ on their list of options to replace Hodgson at the end of the season.

Crystal Palace Pascal Jansen
Roy Hodgson has been a good manager in both his stints for Palace but he is sadly not a long-term option for the Eagles.
Getting in a progressive manager like Jansen is the exact way that the Eagles need to go. They have been in the division for a decade but only finished in the top-half once.
They need to successfully evolve and although it didn’t work with Patrick Vieira they need to attempt to try it again.
The one thing they need to do if they bring in a manager like Jansen is fully back him. Arguably they didn’t do this with Patrick Vieira.

For now, Palace focus on this season and hopefully they can try and get close to a top half finish in the division.
It will be interesting to see if more manager rumours start surfacing. Hopefully Steve Parish is planning sooner rather than later.
