Denmark faced Northern Ireland and despite losing 2-0, Andersen’s nation managed to qualify for Euro 2024.
It was a shock defeat, but Andersen can still hold his head high after putting in a good performance for Denmark last night.
The 27 year-old managed to pick up a 7/10 rating, and this was the third-best rating any Danish player received on the night, via SofaScore.
The “outstanding” defender made two clearances, won three aerial duels and one ground duel. Andersen also managed 137 touches, completing 111 of his 126 passes and creating one big chance. It was no doubt an impressive performance from the defender despite the circumstances.

Andersen is a great player for both Denmark and Crystal Palace and it is great news that not only did he perform well but that he also finished the international break fully fit for the match on Saturday against Luton.
It is good to see Andersen so consistent this season, and he has definitely been one of the best performers for the Eagles.
Alongside the five clean sheets he has helped keep, Andersen has also picked up two huge goals this season.
No doubt his good form will see many top clubs interested in signing him in the future. Andersen has expressed his desire to move to a club with higher aspirations so it would be no shock to see it happen.
The Eagles have a great squad at the moment and if they can start picking up a couple of wins in a row in the Premier League then they could easily finish in the top half this season.
