Chance for Oliver Glasner to break a hoodoo
Not since the 2011/12 campaign have Crystal Palace gone beyond the Fourth Round of the League Cup.

You may recall the Eagles reaching the semi-final of the competition that year, before losing to Cardiff City on penalties, and you would have to go back to 2002/03 to find the only other time in recent history that we have surpassed the Round of 16, losing 3-1 to Sheffield United on that occasion.
Clearly, the League Cup has not often yielded much success for Crystal Palace, so hopefully, Glasner can break something of a hoodoo and get us in the Quarter-Final.
