Crystal Palace defender Joachim Andersen is attracting more interest from Newcastle United but it would be a shock to the see club allow him to leave mid-season.
The Crystal Palace star is going to be heavily touted by Newcastle in January, with the Champions League side reportedly preparing another move for the defender in January.

According to Football Insider, Newcastle are ‘closely monitoring’ Andersen as they look to strengthen in January.
It is no shock to see him attracting interest as he has been outperforming most defenders in the Premier League this season.
The report goes on to say that Andersen is a player that Newcastle have had a long-term interest in. They apparently submitted a late offer in the summer.
Now, Newcastle are looking to make another move for the Crystal Palace player in the winter transfer window and they are ready to make another offer.

The Palace defender has been outstanding for the club so far in both attack and defence. He has also formed a great partnership with fellow centre-back Marc Guehi.
This season, his goal in the 1-1 draw against Brentford and more recently his goal in the 1-0 victory against Manchester United at Old Trafford have helped the club have a brilliant start to the Premier League Season.
Without him the Eagles would definitely be a lot worse off and with them lacking depth already in the squad, it would be a huge shock to see Palace allow him to depart in January 2024.
Andersen is clearly enjoying his time at the Eagles and the club are looking like they could possibly finish in the top half this season.
In order to do that, they need to make sure they keep their top players, like Andersen, in the January transfer window.
It would be a silly decision to allow such a key player in a very important position to leave mid-season and it could massively upset the squad.
