Eberechi Eze was also on the scoresheet as Roy Hodgson led his side to all three points.
The result was huge for Palace and was the club’s first win in nine games and the manner in which it occurred is massive for Palace.
After the game, Hodgson spoke to the media and in doing so sent a heartfelt message to the Palace fanbase.

After the win, Hodgson spoke to media about the win and sent a touching message to the fans.

“Be it two trips to Old Trafford in four days at the start of this season, or difficult kick-off times, or train strikes, we have heard you loud and clear up and down the country; at Selhurst Park, you consistently create an atmosphere that I believe rivals any in the Premier League.”
