Crystal Palace have 'made initial contact' with 22 year-old Champions League winner

Why Chelsea FINALLY Turned A Corner.

The latest news suggests that Crystal Palace are interested in signing Callum Hudson-Odoi this summer transfer window.

That’s according to journalist Ed Aarons.

So what’s the latest on the future of Hudson-Odoi? Let’s take a look..

What’s the story?

The Chelsea player is one whose future is reportedly in doubt this summer. Crystal Palace look to be a club that want to capitalise on this.

Aarons reported the latest on the future of Hudson-Odoi via Twitter. He tweeted: “Told that Crystal Palace made initial contact with Callum Hudson-Odoi’s agents but have yet to follow that up. Fulham and Forest among several clubs hoping to sign him from Chelsea this summer”.

Another report which surfaced this week suggested that Chelsea are willing to cancel Hudson-Odoi’s contract so that he can leave on a free transfer this summer.

Crystal Palace should sign Hudson-Odoi

Crystal Palace definitely need to add some attacking talent to their squad during this transfer window. Michael Olise is reportedly out for multiple months due to a hamstring injury and Wilfried Zaha is technically now a free agent.

With their starting wingers from last season currently looking like they will miss the start of the new season, players like Hudson-Odoi would be perfect in making sure they do not lose quality in these positions.

The 22 year-old has been in and out of the team at Chelsea and was loaned out last season to Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.

Despite this, he would definitely be a good asset for Palace. The winger has already won various trophies at Chelsea, including the Champions League.

Hudson-Odoi can play on either wing and this versatility could be crucial for the Eagles. We love a winger who can dribble on the ball and Hudson-Odoi fits that profile.

With him already making 126 senior appearances for Chelsea at the age of 22 he has experience. He has a potential that he hasn’t quite reached yet but playing more consistent football at a club like Palace could see him excel.
