Crystal Palace have a number of injury concerns through the squad, with new boss Oliver Glasner giving a key update.
Crystal Palace kicked off life under new manager Oliver Glasner in fine fashion after recording a victory over Burnley. Josh Brownhill received a red card in the first half as the visitors were reduced to ten men for the remainder of the game.
The match was locked at a stalemate for the large majority, until the floodgates opened at Selhurst Park. Chris Richards, Jordan Ayew and Jean-Philippe Mateta all found the back of the net in a ten-minute burst of aciton.
The victory put an eight-point gap between the Eagles and the bottom three, pushing them comfortably away from the relegation conversation. There are still a number of injury issues plaguing the squad though, with hopes of some returns in the near future.

Crystal Palace have faced a number of injury concerns in recent weeks, with long-term injuries to Michael Olise, Cheick Doucoure and Rob Holding. There are also issues for Marc Guehi, Eberechi Eze, Will Hughes and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.
That was all before the clash with Burnley, before Joachim Andersen became a fresh concern following his early substitution.
Joachim Andersen injury latest
Joachim Andersen‘s early exit against Burnley caused plenty of concern for Crystal Palace fans, especially given the lengthy absence list already. Fortunately for the Eagles, it appears as though it was a precaution to avoid injury.
Glasner told the media after the game, via the official club website: “He [Joachim Andersen] told us he had a little bit of cramp and of course we didn’t want to take any risk and that was the reason.”

Eberchi Eze injury latest
Eberechi Eze has recently returned to training, following a thigh injury that has kept him sidelined for a few weeks. Glasner recently confirmed that he hopes a return is on the horizon soon, with the Tottenham clash eyed.
“Eberechi Eze, he had with us the last two training sessions and looks good. He will be with us the whole of next week, and if he feels ready, he will be in the squad [at Tottenham].”

Will Hughes injury latest
Will Hughes has been out of action since he limped off in the defeat against Chelsea at the start of February. The midfielder also seems set for a return though, as Glasner claimed: “Will Hughes I also hope and think will be with us next week.”

Marc Guehi injury latest
Marc Guehi has suffered with a jarred knee, which has required an approach of waiting to see when it will regain mobility. Glasner claimed that he will have to wait and see whether the defender will be available to face Tottenham.

Michael Olise injury latest
Crystal Palace’s injury concerns were only heightened when Michael Olise was forced off injured in the defeat to Brighton. The muscle concern appeared to be a serious one that would take roughly two months to recover from.
Though there may be hope of an earlier return, as Glasner also mentioned Olise in the conversation surrounding injury boosts, stating that they will have to wait and see on his condition too.

Jesurun Rak-Sakyi injury latest
Youngster Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has missed out on first-team action this season, with a recent hamstring injury causing problems. While the winger was expected to return recently, an aggravated issue with the academy will see him on the sidelines for a bit longer.

Cheick Doucoure injury latest
Midfielder Cheick Doucoure looks set for a long spell away from action after injuring his Achilles Tendon. There will be some hopes of a return before the end of the season, though it remains to be seen if that is possible.

Summer signing Rob Holding has only managed a few appearances for Crystal Palace so far, with a recent injury issue leaving him out of contention. A procedure was required, with questions over whether the defender will return before the end of the campaign.
