New Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner is set to miss out on a whole host of players for his managerial bow against Burnley, through injury.
It’s the dawn of a new era at Selhurst Park as Oliver Glasner prepares to step out as Crystal Palace manager for the first time. The Austrian coach is the successor to Roy Hodgson, who stepped down following a medical concern.
The first challenge on the mind of the new boss will be steering the Eagles clear of danger. The relegation battle looms over their shoulders, albeit at a distance following the 1-1 draw with Everton last time out.
Further security could be added to their Premier League status when facing strugglers Burnley next up. Palace fans will be eager to see a debut victory for Glasner, as well as some seedlings of the football they’ll play in the future.

A star forward for the team, the absence of Eberechi Eze has been felt by Crystal Palace in recent weeks. A slight muscle strain in early February has kept the 25-year-old out of action, though there is hope surrounding a return soon.
A report from the Daily Mail, before the Everton clash, revealed that Eze is nearing a return, though it remains to be seen exactly when.
