Unless it is yet to be documented in the media, Crystal Palace have not received a response from Andoni Iraola.
Marca in Spain claimed exactly a week ago that Steve Parish had offered Iraola a contract β and the Spaniard was expected to respond in βthe coming daysβ after that deal was put on the table.
As the 43-year-old appears to stall on that offer as he weighs up his options, a story from TEAMtalk now claims that Crystal Palace are considering Ruben Amorim after intermediaries reached out.
Former Sporting CP and Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim is an option for Crystal Palace
Graeme Bailey now states that the Eagles are exploring a move for the Portuguese tactician after intermediaries put his name forward as a possible replacement for Oliver Glasner.
Amorim has been out of work since Manchester United sacked the former Sporting CP boss in January, having won just 25 of his 63 games across 14 months in charge.
However, the 41-year-old was widely considered to be one of the most exciting young coaches in Europe while in Lisbon, where he led Sporting CP to two Primeira Liga titles, two Taca da Liga successes and also the Supertaca Candido de Oliveira.
Amorim is an appealing option as he could be hired without Crystal Palace needing to pay any compensation β the same goes for Iraola.

TEAMtalk add that Frank Lampard is also an option under consideration at Selhurst Park, but Coventry have no intention to discuss his exit having only just won promotion to the Premier League.
Thomas Frank and Robbie Keane β who is doing a fine job in Hungary with Ferencvaros β are also said to be options for Parish.
It very much seems as if Iraola is the primary target for Crystal Palace β who like Dino Toppmoller too β although one of the aforementioned names will presumably enter the frame if the Spaniard turns Parish down.
