Transfer news suggests that Crystal Palace have apparently been monitoring Championship striker Sinclair Armstrong, but his current team QPR are trying to get him to commit his future to the club.
That is according to TEAMtalk.
So, what’s the latest transfer reports around Crystal Palace‘s interest in Sinclair Armstrong? Let’s take a look…
Crystal Palace scouting striker Sinclair Armstrong
Despite the summer transfer window being shut and the winter transfer window not opening until January, reports from TEAMtalk suggest that Crystal Palace are already looking for attacking options.
Apparently, Palace have already sent scouts to watch him play for QPR this season and his performances have put him on the radar of the Eagles as well as Scottish giants Celtic.
Despite such big interest, QPR are hoping to keep Armstrong at the club for the foreseeable. They are in advanced talks with the striker over a contract extension and are hopeful it will be signed.
This will then no doubt put Palace in a position where they would have to spend a higher price for the striker if they wanted him.

Sinclair Armstrong would be an exciting attacking transfer for Crystal Palace
The forward is only 20 years old and although he has only managed three goal contributions in 11 Championship appearances this season, Armstrong definitely looks like he could be an exciting future prospect.
Despite this, his manager Gareth Ainsworth clearly has faith in him and believes he is a top player. He said: “Since I walked in the door, I’ve known this boy has some of the key attributes required to be a top, top striker. I believe he’ll play in the Premier League.”
The QPR side that he is currently in is lacking quality and fighting for their lives in the Championship, so to put faith in such a young forward and play him consistently shows that he definitely has potential to succeed at a high level.
With the Eagles having top creative talents Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze, there is no doubting that a young prospect could thrive in attack at Selhurst Park.
Palace currently have Odsonne Edouard and Jean-Philippe Mateta up front. The former has been on top form this season, whilst Mateta has been good but is yet to score in the Premier League this season.

Over the last few years, the Eagles have made sure they have bought exciting talent with high ceilings, and Armstrong looks like he could be on their shortlist.
The forward, who was hailed as a “real diamond” would perhaps need some time to become ready for the Premier League. Despite this, if the Eagles definitely think he’s a top talent then him signing a new deal will not be an issue.
