Dean Henderson makes Liverpool claim
Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson has shared what manager Oliver Glasner told his players ahead of their clash with Liverpool. The Eagles impressed at Anfield, going on to stun the hosts with some quick moves.
Victory moved Palace closer towards Premier League safety while giving a day to remember for supporters. As quoted by the Standard, Henderson said after the match: “The manager genuinely said to us, ‘We’re going to win today’, and that’s huge.
“We came here to win. We were written off by every single person and that’s the best feeling. Eleven men in front of 62,000 people. There was only one [fanbase] celebrating and that was the 3,000 Palace fans, so I’m delighted.”

Crystal Palace scouting mission
While the Crystal Palace first-team impressed at Liverpool, work continues behind the scenes to keep improving the squad. With the summer transfer window right around the corner, some big moves may help Oliver Glasner’s project kick on.
According to Scouts in Attendance, there was a Palace scout at the 2-2 draw between Midtjylland and Copenhagen.
While it is currently unclear as to which players the scouts were keeping an eye on, Dario Osorio and Roony Bardghji have previously been linked with a switch.

Liverpool free-kick explained
Crystal Palace secured a huge win over Liverpool to give a boost to their survival hopes while damaging the Reds’ title push. As celebrations flew in the away end at the signal of the final whistle, there was one moment of confusion moments before.
The home side were awarded a free-kick in the final seconds of the game, just during a moment where seemingly nothing happened. The Sky Sports broadcast cameras missed the moment leading up to it, creating more confusion.
However, following the event, it appears to have been caused by an incident between Jefferson Lerma and Mohamed Salah.
