Crystal Palace still have their sights set on Ross McCausland despite the playing committing his future to his current club.
That is according to TEAMTalk.
So, what’s the latest on Crystal Palace and their interest in Ross McCausland? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
With the January transfer window rapidly approaching the transfer reports are starting to heat up as clubs look to strengthen.
According to TEAMTalk, McCausland has agreed new terms with his current club Rangers. He has had ‘major interest’ from many clubs and the Scottish side wanted to get him tied down to a new deal as soon as possible.
Apparently Premier League clubs Newcastle, Brighton, Brentford and Everton, as well as Crystal Palace, were all interested in Ross McCausland before this news.
Despite him apparently signing a new deal, they will all ‘continue to monitor’ the player. The 20-year-old clearly has some top potential.

Crystal Palace still want Ross McCausland
Crystal Palace always look to try and sign young talent who will not only improve the team but who also have a big future.
They have recently been linked with Kasey McAteer and it looks like McCausland is another of their targets.
McCausland is only 20-years-old, but he is now becoming a player more integral to the Rangers first team.
This season, the right-winger has managed eight appearances, with two in the Europa League and six in the Scottish Premiership.

In the UEFA Youth League, McCausland showed his top potential, scoring five goals in just nine appearances. Senior football is a lot tougher but the fact that he is being used at such a young age suggests he has a bright future.
With so many Premier League clubs interested, there is no doubting that the winger could be a good asset for the Eagles.
