Crystal Palace loanee David Ozoh has been handed a fresh injury blow while playing for Derby County in their clash against Cardiff City.
The midfielder has impressed since making the switch to Pride Park, hopeful of working his way into Oliver Glasner’s plans for the future.
The 19-year-old has taken to the Championship like a duck to water, with a physical profile that helps him compete in senior football along with the technical prowess picked up from the Crystal Palace academy.
David Ozoh has one goal to his name and in the deeper midfield role, he has helped Derby bag three wins from their opening five league games.
There are concerns over his availability for the coming weeks though, with the youngster suffering what appeared to be a right hamstring issue against Cardiff over the weekend.

David Ozoh injury latest
Ozoh was brought off just minutes into the second half of the clash between Derby and Cardiff, appearing to be in some pain holding his right hamstring.
Taking to Instagram, the Crystal Palace loanee posted a story with the caption: “Part of the game. I’ll be back.”

It comes as an untimely injury for the youngster, who was starting to pick up some seriously good form for the Rams.
The length of the injury is yet to be revealed, with scans set for Monday to decipher the issue and how long he could be missing for.

Paul Warne discusses David Ozoh injury
Derby boss Paul Warne revealed after his side’s victory on Saturday that Ozoh was rather upset with the injury he suffered.
He said in the post-match press conference: “He [David Ozoh] is a bit down in the dumps, bless him.
“I should know this really but I don’t know whether he has had a hamstring injury before.
“He obviously felt it but we don’t know the severity of it yet. He will go for a scan on Monday and it could be a couple of weeks and a twinge or it could be eight or 12 weeks.
“We are blessed that we have a good medical team so we will get him back.”
It’s a far from ideal situation for Ozoh, though injuries are likely to be part of a long and potentially successful career for the midfielder.
When it comes to his development, this situation could help him in the long run but comes as a difficult situation to deal with now, just as he was getting on a roll.
