Daichi Kamada has been exceptional for Crystal Palace so far this season.
The Japan international is the reigning Player of the Month at Selhurst Park following a standout September for the man born in Iyo – and finally seems to have settled after a difficult debut campaign last term.
Daichi Kamada is currently away with Japan – with 13 other senior Crystal Palace players also on international duty – and something has now happened which will surely please Oliver Glasner.

The Crystal Palace No.18 was left out of the starting XI by Hajime Moriyasu, which would normally be seen as a negative.
However, Kamada missed the first two games of the Premier League campaign through injury, and has since played almost every minute – bar 12 – of the following league matches, along with 90 minutes in clashes against Fredrikstad and Millwall.
It means the 29-year-old has received little rest since recovering from injury, so the fact he only played 24 minutes of the clash between Japan and Paraguay should please Glasner.

Despite playing a lot of football and dealing with some injuries, Kamada was exceptional in his 24 minutes against Paraguay.
The Crystal Palace maestro completed 17 passes – 13 of which came in Paraguay’s half – also recording one successful dribble while winning the ball back twice.

There seems to be newfound enthusiasm and energy in Kamada this season, no doubt a result of the historic FA Cup win as well as the fact he is now firmly settled in England.
Should he maintain this current level, Steve Parish must do all he can to keep the Japanese star – who sees his contract expire in July along with Glasner.
