Adam Wharton is another player who has caught the eye of some big clubs, and speaking on Inside Spurs, David Bentley has now urged Tottenham to make a move for the £18m Palace star.

Bentley shared his verdict on where Tottenham need to improve.
The pundit says he’d like to see the midfield bolstered, claiming that Adam Wharton could be the perfect addition to this side, claiming that he could easily dictate games from deep, just as he does for Crystal Palace.
“I think he has a strong squad, defensively it looks strong,” Bentley said.
“I think in the midfield, I like maybe the boy at Crystal Palace, the left-footed boy. Someone like that who could sit in front and just dictate games. He’s being touted to Real Madrid and stuff like that, but if you can nip in and get a player like that, I think that advances you on.”

Adam Wharton will eventually get a move to one of the Premier League’s biggest clubs, thus is the cycle of football.
Indeed, as much as Wharton is loving life at Crystal Palace at the moment, one day he will have aspirations to fly the nest and join a Premier League giant.
When that day comes, Wharton could well fetch a record fee for Crystal Palace.

Wharton has been hailed by Harry Kane as a top player, and as a young, English player, his value could hit heights never before seen at Selhurst Park.
Of course, Palace will want to keep Wharton for as long as possible, but when the time comes, he could well fetch a record fee for the Eagles.
