Eddie Nketiah has sent a message to Dean Henderson after Crystal Palace drew 0-0 against Manchester United on Saturday.
The Crystal Palace No.1 was the hero on several occasions for Oliver Glasner at Selhurst Park – making seven saves to earn a point against the side who sold him to the Eagles for £20m in August 2023.

What Eddie Nketiah said to Dean Henderson
The Crystal Palace No.9 posted a wordless message to praise the England international after Saturday’s 0-0 draw.
Nketiah simply posted a photo of Henderson on Instagram, captioned by two emojis showing goats.
For those who are unaware of the significance, someone being referred to as a goat typically means Greatest Of All Time.
Of course, Henderson – who was seen shouting “play forward” to his teammates – still has some way to go if he is to become the greatest glovesman in football history one day, but if he keeps playing like he did on Saturday, it could well be possible in future.
Clearly, his teammates were impressed by what they witnessed from the 27-year-old in between the sticks against Manchester United, on the basis of Nketiah’s post.
Crystal Palace were right to offload Sam Johnstone
There was a divide in the fanbase at times last season as Sam Johnstone and Henderson battled for the No.1 shirt, while there was also a fair amount of uproar when £20m was spent on the man from Whitehaven, when we already had an England international who had been signed on a free.
Now – however – the decision to invest heavily on Henderson, and accept £10m from Wolves for Johnstone, appears to be a wise move in hindsight.
Johnstone is four years older – so we should get more out of the £20m move in the long term – while he had rarely delivered a top, top performance like we saw from Henderson against Manchester United.
Ultimately, it is now starting to look like some more smart business from Dougie Freedman.
