With a week of training behind him and his new team, Oliver Glasner is just 24 hours away from his first game as Crystal Palace boss.
In his first few days, he’s already impressed Palace players as Marc Guehi revealed yesterday, saying that the Austrian has already made an impact.
Hopes are high for this weekend with Paul Merson predicting a big win for Palace which would be the stuff of dreams for Glasner.

Chris Sutton predicts Crystal Palace vs Burnley
Writing in his weekly predictions column on BBC Sport, Chris Sutton gave his verdict on who’ll win this weekend in Glasner’s first Palace game.
Sutton first touched on the fact Burnley is coming off a thrashing at the hands of Arsenal before giving his prediction for this game, warning that Glasner may not have an immediate impact on Palace.
“The Clarets will stand a much better chance against Palace, but the Eagles are a bit of an unknown quantity in Oliver Glasner’s first game in charge.
“You cannot just switch overnight from one playing style to another, so it is going to take time for Glasner to make a difference, but there should be a positive atmosphere at Selhurst Park and I can see the new manager ‘bounce’ working for them here.”

Against Burnley, Glasner has the opportunity to really take advantage of the momentum Palace have now with the new manager.
The new manager bounce alone should see enough points gained over the next few weeks to make relegation a distant concern.
It won’t really be until the summer when he can properly change things at the club with from now until then just being about surviving and making decisions on players.
That being said, the importance of three points against Burnley cannot be understated, Glasner must take advantage of the favourable first game in charge.
