Luka Milivojevic left Crystal Palace following his contract expiring last summer and here is how he has got on since leaving the club.
He now plays for Shabab Al-Ahli.

What’s the story?
Milivojevic was a central midfielder for Crystal Palace. He made 198 appearances for the Eagles and was at the club from January 2017 to June 2023.
The 32-year-old was the club captain for Palace and also managed 29 goals and six assists, with many coming from either the penalty spot or from free-kicks. He was a key player under Roy Hodgson during his first spell managing the club.
He was definitely loved by Palace fans but it was the right time for him to leave the Eagles. His quality had reduced and it was a better idea to not give him a new contract and let him leave on a free transfer.
Now, he plays in the United Arab Emirates and he has had some good moments for Shabab Al-Ahli and some bad moments as well.
How Luka Milivojevic has fared since leaving Crystal Palace
The central midfielder is no doubt coming towards the end of his professional football career and the move to the UAE looks to have worked somewhat well.
He has played nine times in all competitions for his new club. Milivojevic has managed two assists, and these both came in the UAE Pro League.
Sadly, he has somewhat let himself down when it comes to being disciplined. Palace fans will know that the Serbian loves the odd yellow card, and it looks like things haven’t changed at his new club.
The midfielder has three yellow cards in his nine appearances and he also received a straight red card towards the end of October in the UAE Pro League. This was the last time he featured for the club currently. Like many Palace players, Milivojevic will no doubt be resting over the current international break after not being selected for his country. Some Palace stars have impressed on international duty.
He will no doubt have to improve his discipline if he wants to remain a key player for Shabab Al-Ahli. The midfielder can definitely still have a positive impact for his new club.
He left the Eagles on good terms and fans will be happy to see that he is now getting more game time at a level better suited to his current quality.
