Dean Henderson watched on from the bench as England recorded a famous 3-2 win over Mexico inside the Estadio Azteca.
The Crystal Palace No.1 was heavily involved in the celebrations after the final whistle as a brace from Jude Bellingham and a penalty by Harry Kane set up a World Cup quarter-final against Norway and Jorgen Strand Larsen.
After the game, Bellingham sent Henderson a message which suggests the 29-year-old is a popular member of the squad, despite playing second fiddle to Jordan Pickford.
Crystal Palace’s fixtures are out for the 2026/27 season! Which game are you most excited for? 🤔
Marc Guehi also replies as Dean Henderson celebrates England win
After the victory over Mexico, Henderson uploaded three photos of England celebrating along with the caption: “What a team. What a win!!! 😍🔥”
Bellingham wrote in response: “My brother ❤️”
Henderson’s former Crystal Palace teammate Marc Guehi also replied, simply commenting a heart emoji (❤️) to acknowledge the post.
We are now at a stage where Crystal Palace have a very real chance of welcoming a World Cup winner back to Selhurst Park this summer for the first time in history.
As we approach the quarter-finals of the World Cup, Henderson, Strand Larsen, Jean-Philippe Mateta, Maxence Lacroix, Yeremy Pino, Chadi Riad, Daniel Munoz and Jefferson Lerma are all still involved in the competition, with France and Spain the two favourites.

Munoz and Lerma must defeat Switzerland in order to reach the quarter-final.
FIFA will pay Crystal Palace some compensation for having this amount of players involved in the World Cup – albeit a smaller amount than initially expected as Gianni Infantino moves the goalposts.
It undoubtedly makes life hard for Pierre Sage in terms of getting his tactical ideas across with these players set for a three-week holiday once their participation in the World Cup is over, but it is still special to see so many Crystal Palace stars shining on the biggest stage.
