Crystal Palace are still yet to release the new range of kits for the 2026/27 campaign.

It was a hectic time for the Eagles at the end of last season, winning the UEFA Conference League in Leipzig before 13 players swiftly departed for the World Cup – which is why a trophy parade did not happen.

The appointment of Pierre Sage also took precedence over any other duties.

However, an interesting image has now emerged online supposedly showing a new strip for the 2026/27 campaign, and if the picture is real, the kit could involve a change of badge for Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace could adopt remake of 1976/77 strip on 165th anniversary

Next season marks our 165th anniversary as a football club, even since we were founded in 1861.

Middlesbrough opted to release a new commemorative badge for last season to celebrate their 150th anniversary, and Crystal Palace might be doing something similar.

As you can see in the image above – which was leaked on X (previously known as Twitter) – a white kit is being rumoured, which appears to include a circular badge on the right of the chest, just behind the barcode.

Some may argue that the current badge can be seen centrally, although on closer inspection, that appears to just be the crest used on the plastic packaging.

Admittedly, only the top of the potential circular badge can be seen behind the barcode, but it appears to be similar to the crest used on the white sash shirt in the 1976/77 kit as you can see below.

This white kit was actually used as the home shirt during that 1976/77 campaign, and considering the 2026/27 season will mark the 50th anniversary of that strip, it would not be a surprise to see it adopted as the home strip for the upcoming season.
