Leicester City – relegation rivals for Crystal Palace – have now decided to sack Steve Cooper.
The decision comes after the Foxes suffered a 2-1 defeat against Chelsea on Saturday, a game in which Jordan Ayew scored, leaving them 16th in the Premier League.

It comes after Crystal Palace themselves allegedly explored a managerial change in recent weeks, following a dismal start to the campaign which has yielded just one win from 12 Premier League games.
We Are Palace understand Steve Parish admires Graham Potter – and considered the Englishman in case Oliver Glasner could not spark an upturn in performances, something the Austrian has, in fairness, managed to do.
Now – however – Leicester City could take the man from Solihull out of unemployment.

Jason Bourne of talkSPORT has now revealed that the Foxes are “very keen” on Potter – and actually wanted to hire him as the replacement for Enzo Maresca back in June.
Should an appointment materialise, it would – of course – mean Parish has to find a different coach to take over from Glasner, if results do not end up improving across the coming weeks.

Despite an impressive showing in Saturday’s 2-2 draw against Aston Villa, there is no escaping the fact Crystal Palace remain 18th in the Premier League, and Glasner is still at risk of potentially being sacked across the next two months.
If Parish does end up printing out a P45 for the 50-year-old, and Leicester City hire Potter, Crystal Palace could turn to David Moyes.
Interestingly, reports also claim that Ruud van Nistelrooy wants to manage Crystal Palace – after Ruben Amorim decided not to include the Dutchman in his backroom staff at Manchester United.
Hopefully, the popular Glasner can drag us out of the relegation zone soon, and these aforementioned managers will come nowhere near Selhurst Park.
