Pundit Alan Shearer has now heaped praise on Crystal Palace star Tyrick Mitchell following his performance in the win over Burnley.
The pundit placed the defender in the Premier League Team of the Week.

The Eagles beat Burnley 2-0 on the weekend at Turf Moor and although the opposition had more chances and more possession, it felt like a typical solid Roy Hodgson performance.
Mitchell had a good game at left-back and he capped it off with a goal in the last few minutes to make sure Palace picked up the three points.
His performance was highly rated, with pundit Shearer putting the 24 year-old in his Premier League Team of the Week.
The pundit also praised Mitchell and said: “Solid in the one on ones, capped off by a lovely finish.” Hopefully, the left-back can continue to perform to a high level.

In 116 appearances for Palace, this was Mitchell’s second goal for the club and it was one that the staff, fans and players enjoyed a lot as he is an academy product shining for the Eagles.
Mitchell picked up a 7.7 rating out of 10 for his performance against Burnley and this was the second-best rating on the day, via SofaScore.
With him still very young and also very happy at the South London club, there is no doubting that he could stay in the starting lineup for many years and become a club legend.
If Mitchell can perform to such a high level consistently then there is also the chance that he could get back into Gareth Southgate’s England squad.
The defence has definitely been the stronger part of the Palace team this season and have kept five clean sheets in 11 Premier League games. Mitchell wasn’t the only player to be praised this week as BBC pundit Garth Crooks placed Sam Johnstone in his Team of the Week.
If Mitchell can also contribute more in attack then he will become a top threat and it is good to see him receive praise from Shearer after a top performance.
