Oliver Glasner has now shared what he found difficult in his first week at Crystal Palace.
The 49-year-old made the comments when speaking to Kronen Zeitung in Austria.

Well, the Austrian got off to the perfect start in SE25 with a 3-0 win over Burnley at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
However, there was one thing which Glasner found to be a “major distraction” during preparations for the visit of Vincent Kompany’s side – greeting everybody at Crystal Palace.
The man from Salzburg said: “It was getting to know all the employees. Crystal Palace’s support staff is huge. The initially new faces and names every day were a sensory overload and major distraction in a phase in which I knew: You only have three days until the first game and you should concentrate on football and the players.”
Now, those comments could be taken in a negative way – with some possibly accusing Glasner of being antisocial.
Having said that, we can only sympathise with him.
Busy week for Oliver Glasner
Not only was Glasner required to do his homework on Burnley – from a hotel in Greenwich nonetheless – but he also had to undertake several media duties, including a tour of Selhurst Park alongside Chris Grierson and the training ground, all while adapting to a country he had never previously managed in.
It has – therefore – unquestionably been a whirlwind of a week for the Crystal Palace boss, who still took the time to introduce himself by name to every journalist in his first press conference.
Clearly – despite the fact Glasner found these many introductions to be a distraction – he still took the time to do them properly, which speaks volumes about his character.
Hopefully, Crystal Palace can make it two wins from two under the Austrian against Tottenham on Saturday.
