Crystal Palace are looking for a productive season when it comes to their loan options, with plenty of young stars sent for a taste of senior football.
David Ozoh has joined Derby County for the season, with the promising young midfielder tipped for big things in the Championship.
Another loan secured was that of Malcolm Ebiowei joining Oxford United, with the winger looking to recapture his best form in the second tier.
Goalkeeper duo Joe Whitworth and Owen Goodman have both secured switches to the third and fourth tier respectively.
Then there’s Tayo Adaramola, a young left-back who made his breakthrough under Patrick Vieira in the 2021/22 FA Cup – making two appearances for the Crystal Palace senior team.
Several Premier League squads have been made, but the 20-year-old is yet to get regular minutes at the top level.
A switch to Stockport County came with the hope of gaining that, but there has been a setback to his start at the League One club.

Tayo Adaramola injury update
In Stockport’s pre-season friendly against Blackburn Rovers, Adaramola featured for the Edgeley Park outfit – which ended in a 1-0 defeat.
The young left-back was on the receiving end of a horror challenge from Blackburn captain Lewis Travis.
As Adaramola evades the midfielder, he sweeps the defender’s legs twice, resulting in him ending up on the floor.
The Crystal Palace academy star seemed in some pain, which has since come back as far from positive news.
Stockport boss Dave Challinor confirmed that an MCL [Medial Collateral Ligament] injury had been suffered in the knee.
“Tayo is an MCL, he’s out around 6-8 weeks,” the manager said in a recent press conference.
It means the youngster isn’t expected back until roughly October, which will force him to fight back into the team.

Crystal Palace loan experience
While it is a far from ideal start to his life on loan at Stockport, Adaramola will have to bounce back from the injury setback.
The defender has been touted for a big future at Selhurst Park, meaning that any experience on loan is one for learning.
If the 20-year-old returns better than ever, it will put him in good stead for a successful career at first-team level.
There’s not only the physical aspect to coping with injuries and making a return but the mental side of it too.
While it wasn’t the plan to send Adaramola on loan to then get injured, it’s another experience that perhaps wouldn’t have been picked up back at Crystal Palace.
