Yannick Bolasie has now suggested he wants to come back to Crystal Palace – like Nathaniel Clyne did.
The 34-year-old made the comments when speaking on The Filthy Fellas podcast.

Yannick Bolasie suggests he wants Crystal Palace return
Well, the man from Lyon left Crystal Palace to join Everton in a £25m deal back in 2016.
A serious knee injury at Goodison Park put a major dent in Bolasie’s career, and he now finds himself without a club following spells at Çaykur Rizespor and Swansea, following his release from Everton in 2021.
Now, the DR Congo international has said he would have liked to return to Selhurst Park at some point.
When asked about Wilfried Zaha, Clyne, Joel Ward and the family feeling of Crystal Palace, Bolasie said: “It’s a family orientated club, you know? The people are the same people, Wardy (Joel Ward) has done his thing, he’s done well. Still there, Clyney’s (Nathaniel Clyne) ended up going back.
“They take back some people, unfortunately mine wasn’t like that. Maybe it’s because of me, the way I am. I don’t think I can just be the backseat don, chilling.”
Bolasie began to awkwardly fiddle with some cups when speaking about wanting to come back to Crystal Palace, suggesting he was – at some stage – very keen to play his football in SE25 once again.
There was a story from The Sun in August 2018 which claimed that Crystal Palace attempted to bring the winger back from Everton, but ultimately, no move materialised.
Crystal Palace could sign Yannick Bolasie for free
As aforesaid, Bolasie is currently a free agent after leaving Swansea, so Steve Parish could sign him for nothing.
It would be an intriguing move – given the fact he last played Premier League football in 2018 – although Crystal Palace did once bring Andy Johnson back in 2014 at the age of 33, so anything could happen.
