The Athletic says that Gyokeres is in high-demand and a move for him is expected after his club Coventry failed to get promoted.

According to The Athletic, an outside name that the club is looking at is Viktor Gyokeres. The issue for Crystal Palace is the fact that they apparently ‘would face serious competition for him’.
Fellow Premier League side Wolves are very interested in the Coventry striker according to the report. The striker managed to score 22 goals this season.
Gyokeres is already a Swedish international. The forward has played 13 times for Sweden and has managed to score 3 goals.
Victor Gyokeres would be a great signing for Crystal Palace
With 22 goals and 12 assists in 50 appearances this season, Gyokeres has shown that he is a great finisher and that he is also very creative.
The “unbelievable” forward is also six foot one, and this season he has proved that he can use his height and be a good target man.
We desperately need a striker who can provide 10+ goals a season at the Eagles. Although Gyokeres hasn’t played in England’s top flight, he has proven that he is a prolific finisher. With the creative players Palace have, he could thrive in the division.
Recent reports have suggested that Coventry want around £20million for him. This isn’t a lot in today’s market for a prolific player who is only 25 years-old.
