Oliver Glasner did not stop doing one thing today as Crystal Palace recorded a 1-1 draw against Luton Town.

It was just the Austrian’s second game at Selhurst Park since replacing Roy Hodgson in February.

So, what was Oliver Glasner seen doing during Crystal Palace‘s draw against Luton Town? Let’s take a look…

What Oliver Glasner kept doing during Crystal Palace 1-1 Luton Town

Well, the 49-year-old is a far more intense manager than Hodgson on the touchline, and that was evident during today’s draw at Selhurst Park.

As also noticed by Alex Howell of BBC Sport, Glasner was relentlessly coaching his Crystal Palace players through today’s Premier League clash as he attempts to get his new ideas across.

Howell reported: “You can see the Palace side are still learning from what the manager wants from them. Oliver Glasner hasn’t stopped coaching his players from the technical area so far.”

The Salzburg-born tactician’s efforts on the sideline appeared to have the desired impact, as Crystal Palace pressed the Hatters tirelessly and created some impressive openings in the attacking third.

As shown by WhoScored, the Eagles had 18 shots to Luton Town’s seven attempts, while also winning 16 tackles compared to nine from Rob Edwards’ side, which particularly highlights the intensity of Glasner’s side.

Of course, Glasner will be heartbroken to have seen his side throw two points away, but there are many encouraging signs to take from today’s game.

Fans will love this

While nobody expected Hodgson to be charging up and down the touchline like Jurgen Klopp for obvious reasons, fans must prefer to see the more energetic style of Glasner – it will also surely feed into the atmosphere at Selhurst Park.

It is great to see a manager on the touchline who is so invested in the match, and appears to share the same rollercoaster of emotions as a supporter experiences throughout the 90 minutes.

Hopefully, Glasner’s intense approach to games can help Crystal Palace make Selhurst Park a fortress once again.
