Crystal Palace fans will be over the moon to hear what Roy Hodgson had to say in his press conference earlier today.
He provided a positive injury update on two players.
So, which two players was he talking about? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Roy Hodgson was speaking in his press conference ahead of Crystal Palace’s match against Fulham this weekend.
Last weekend, Marc Guehi was injured ahead of the match whilst Jordan Ayew limped off injured early in the first half against Aston Villa.
Now, Crystal Palace fans will be over the moon to hear what the manager has said about the very important duo.
Speaking in his press conference, Hodgson said: “(Jordan Ayew) is fine – he took a nasty blow, it gave him a dead leg but he trained fine, yes. But we have also recovered Marc Guéhi as well, who picked up an injury playing for England. That has recovered well.”

Crystal Palace given huge boost ahead of Fulham
Both Marc Guehi and Jordan Ayew being available for the game on the weekend is a huge boost for Crystal Palace.
Guehi is arguably the best defender at the club whilst Ayew has been on top form both offensively and defensively this season.
They are both so key to the success of the club this season and if Palace want to finish top half then Guehi and Ayew are needed.
With them back, the Eagles can think about going on the front-foot against Fulham instead of being a bit tamer due to lack of squad depth.

Hopefully the two go straight back into the starting lineup. With Crystal Palace losing last week, it will be massively important to get a win at Selhurst Park on the weekend.
With Michael Olise and Matheus Franca still unavailable, Palace fans will have loved to hear the injury update Hodgson provided on Guehi and Ayew.
