Crystal Palace have some talented names currently in the youth academy, now one has continued to impress at a senior level.
Crystal Palace have started the season slowly, but the expectation is that things will improve after the international break.
Several signings have now arrived and had plenty of time to embed themselves within Oliver Glasner’s team which should see improvements made on the two losses and one draw which Crystal Palace have faced this season so far.
But for the U21s, this season has started much better, with a win and a draw in the opening two games of the Premier League 2 campaign – ahead of the International Premier League starting next Tuesday in which Crystal Palace will want to defend the crown.
Now, one of the star players of this form by the U21 side has also been lighting up the international football scene.

Hindolo Mustapha scores first Sierra Leone goal
18-year-old Crystal Palace talent Hindolo Mustapha is enjoying a very impressive season so far in the academy, and it has just gotten a great deal better thanks to what he did on Tuesday.
Called up by Sierra Leone for the international break this month, Mustapha has now grabbed his first goal in senior football, converting for his country against Zambia during AFCON qualification.
The goal was one to remember for Mustapha as he took on the ball at the edge of the box before dribbling his way through the Zambian defence before he slotted it home.
To score his first goal for his country and for it to be such an incredible strike too is something which showcases Mustapha to be a pretty impressive talent who is absolutely worth keeping an eye on.
Mustapha is among the best talents currently in the ranks at Selhurst Park along with Jesse Derry who also enjoyed a solid international break.
Crystal Palace whizkid is on fire
Despite his international goal garnering much of the plaudits he has gotten this season so far, for Mustapha, this is only the latest in what has been a pretty incredible start to the 2024/25 season.
Before this season, Mustapha had only played twice at U21 level, and he has now matched that figure this season in two games which shows he is likely to be a regular.
His performances make this even more likely, with two goals in two U21 Premier League fixtures for the midfielder.
Stats like these could soon see the talented player in line for a debut along with Derry.
Such a talent won’t go under the radar for long if he manages to continue what he is doing.
