The Crystal Palace U18 side are in high spirits after defeating Manchester United in the U18 Premier League Cup final.
A late strike from Benji Casey cancelled out an opener from Noah Ajayi, and a superb penalty by Dean Benamar eventually handed the Eagles a 6-5 win in the shootout after extra-time.
It means another piece of silverware has joined the FA Cup and Community Shield at Selhurst Park, and the UEFA Conference League could soon follow.
Some fans may recall the name of Timothy Fosu-Mensah and the fact he played for both Crystal Palace and Manchester United. Despite spending seven seasons at Old Trafford compared to just one in south London, the Dutchman still applauded the Eagles after victory against the Red Devils.
Fosu-Mensah hails Crystal Palace wonderkids after cup win
After Crystal Palace uploaded a video of the U18 side celebrating their win, Fosu-Mensah posted two applauding emojis (👏 👏) in response on Instagram.
Some Manchester United fans may not be too happy about that reaction, considering they played a key role in giving the 28-year-old a career in professional football.
Having said that, Fosu-Mensah, who is currently without a club, made more appearances during that one season on loan at Crystal Palace than he did in total for Manchester United, appearing in 21 Premier League games compared to just 16 for the Red Devils.
Regardless, this is a massive result for the Eagles.

The Manchester United U18 side contains some real gems, such as Chido Obi and JJ Gabriel, so it speaks volumes that our youngsters were able to dispatch them.
The talented Casey, Benamar, and Joel Drakes-Thomas, who all appeared in the UEFA Conference League earlier this season, appear to be the most promising of this current group.
Hopefully, Steve Parish – who wants Andoni Iraola – replaces Oliver Glasner with a manager who puts more trust into these young talents, as we may well have a golden generation on our hands.
