SAKA, ANTONY AND 10 PREMIER LEAGUE STARS HEADING TO THEIR FIRST WORLD CUP
We’re now two months into the 2021/22 campaign, and to the surprise of absolutely nobody, Conor Gallagher has been named Player of the Month twice.
That’s Crystal Palace’s own award instead of the Premier League’s one, although at this rate, it won’t be long until he wins that as well.
During his interview with Chris Grierson after being handed the award, Gallagher was asked about his partnership with James McArthur.
The Chelsea loanee said: “Oh he’s class, honestly. For his age, what he does, what he’s doing, it’s ridiculous. He runs more than me in games. People probably wouldn’t think that but honestly, he’s a top, top player, top guy, and learning from him is great.”
More to come 📈

By the sounds of it, he’s loving life alongside the Scot.
In our view, McArthur looks as good as he ever has in red and blue so far this season.
The man who cost £7m from Wigan in 2014 has been named Vice Captain by Patrick Vieira, which seems to have taken his game to new heights.
McArthur has started all six Premier League games so far this season, in which he has averaged 1.5 tackles and 1.5 interceptions per game (WhoScored).
Even at 33 years of age, our No.18 can get around the pitch as well as he always has for us – he seems tailor made for Vieira’s high-intensity pressing system.
Hopefully, McArthur and Gallagher will be teammates for a couple of years at Selhurst Park – please Chelsea, just let us keep him.
