Crystal Palace goalkeeper Sam Johnstone has raved over his teammates Marc Guehi and Joachim Andersen this week.
He was speaking about them on the Seaman Says Podcast.

Guehi, Andersen and Johnstone are all huge reasons for the Eagles having a good start to the Premier League season.
Crystal Palace have kept five clean sheets so far in the division, and this is the joint most so far this campaign.
Whilst on the Seaman Says Podcast with David Seaman, Johnstone was asked about Guehi and Andersen and how good a centre-back pairing they are. The goalkeeper praised both but no doubt piled the praise more on Guehi.
Johnstone said: “Brilliant. Very Good. Guehi is only 22/23 and he’s unbelievable. He’s mature and a top player. Can do both, can play with the ball at his feet, and can go long. His composure is unbelievable. Same with Andersen. It’s great to play behind them”

It is no shock to see the goalkeeper rate the centre-back pairing so highly as they have been standout stars at Palace ever since they joined in 2021.
Both Guehi and Andersen have brought qualities that Palace fans have not seen from centre-backs in years. They are arguably the best centre-backs that the South London club has had since promotion a decade ago.
No doubt a lot of the praise he aimed at English international Guehi, who is on £50,000-a-week at the club. The 23 year-old plays like a defender in his prime and he has shone for the Eagles this season.
With the two defenders just in front of Johnstone, who has made 28 saves in the Premier League this season, Palace have shown they have a very strong foundation to build on.
The issue no doubt is that they could both easily be playing for a bigger club, and Andersen has also expressed his wishes to play at a higher level in the future.
If the defensive duo keep on playing at such a high level then it is going to feel like an impossible task keeping them in the next summer transfer window if Palace don’t finish in the top half.
Manager Roy Hodgson has looked to bring the best out of them since his returning and no doubt it is great to see such a defensive pairing in the red and blue.
