Troy Deeney has predicted the result of Crystal Palace’s game vs West Ham on Saturday

Crystal Palace have had a solid start to this season.

Indeed, the Eagles kicked off the campaign by winning the Community Shield, and while losing Eberechi Eze to Arsenal was a serious blow, Oliver Glasner’s side have bounced back well.

While Eze was one of Palace’s best players, losing the England international hasn’t necessarily proven to be a massive blow so far.

Palace are one of just three teams in the Premier League, alongside Chelsea and Liverpool who remain unbeaten to this point, and they will be hoping to extend that run this weekend against West Ham.

The Hammers head into Saturday’s game in poor form, winning just one of their first four games, and Graham Potter is under serious pressure.

Speaking on his TikTok page, Troy Deeney has now predicted how this match will go.

Troy Deeney predicts West Ham vs Crystal Palace

Deeney shared how he thinks this game will go.

The pundit says that he thinks Palace have more firepower than the Hammers, and, for that reason, he went for a 3-1 win for Oliver Glasner’s side.

“West Ham vs Palace. I’m working this game,” Deeney said.

“It’s not looking good for West Ham, I think Palace have got a bit more in an attacking sense.

“I think the way West Ham play and how Palace can get after them, push, attack, hit them on the counter, I expect this to be, I’m going to go 3-1 to Palace.”

Graham Potter’s record vs Crystal Palace

Graham Potter is a manager Crystal Palace fans don’t have all that much time for.

Indeed, as a former Brighton gaffer, Potter has been at odds with Palace for a while. And he’s since gone on to manage two London rivals in the shape of Chelsea and West Ham.

Interestingly, Potter has a truly terrible record against Crystal Palace over the years.

Two wins in 10 games is a poor return, and, as Deeney says, things may not get much easier this weekend as West Ham head into this match in poor form.

The Eagles will certainly fancy their chances of coming away with all three points on Saturday afternoon.
