Crystal Palace are set to be joined by two academy talents this evening against Everton, with a young attacking duo said to have made the trip to Goodison Park.
Crystal Palace are set to see a reshuffle ahead of tonight’s battle with Everton, with a change in personnel on the touchline not the only shift we could see.
Reports have revealed that Roy Hodgson will not be on the touchline as he gets well after Thursday’s incident during training, with Paddy McCarthy and Ray Lewington set to take charge.
Now, journalist Edmund Brack has shared the news that academy duo Franco Umeh-Chibueze and Jadan Raymond could be with the squad to travel to Merseyside.
Crystal Palace team news vs Everton
As detailed in our injury roundup ahead of the trip to Goodison Park, the Eagles squad is hugely tainted by key absences.
Seven players are set to miss out on the battle with Everton, including the likes of Eberechi Eze, Michael Olise and Marc Guehi, who have been crucial to Palace this term.
As a result of the heavy absences, younger players could be handed the opportunity to shine, with Umeh-Chibueze and Raymond the duo said to be in contention to make the squad this evening.

Who are Crystal Palace starlets Franco Umeh-Chibueze and Jadan Raymond?
Raymond, who has been at Palace since the age of eight plays in attacking midfield for the U21 side and has scored one goal and recorded two assists in only nine Premier League 2 appearances this season.
The 20-year-old is yet to make a senior appearance in his career although, he was named on the bench in a Premier League fixture earlier this season.
A player with a creative eye, Raymond could offer the Eagles some positivity in midfield if he is called into action, particularly as the fitness of Will Hughes is undetermined.
Playing ahead of Raymond in the academy is 19-year-old Franco Umeh-Chibueze, who is also said to be one of the players expected to travel to Goodison.
The teenager, who can play on either flank and up front, is soaring with the U21s this season, having scored six goals and produced one assist in 11 Premier League 2 appearances.
The Irishman was lauded as “very talented” by talent scout Jacek Kulig earlier this year and could be on the brink of a breakthrough at Palace, especially if he is named in the senior squad for the first time tonight.
Only time will tell who will get the pick in the squad this evening, in what is set to be a feisty affair with the Toffees on Merseyside.
