The Holmesdale Fanatics have now launched a campaign to combat Crystal Palace seizing the HF05 banner.
The news was announced on X (previously known as Twitter).

Holmesdale Fanatics launch campaign
Well – firstly – let’s provide some context.
Crystal Palace introduced LED advertising screens this season, which wrap around the entirety of Selhurst Park – including where the HF05’s long standing banner sits.
According to the Evening Standard, the Holmesdale Fanatics have rejected suggestions of hanging the banner from the roof of the Holmesdale Stand, and insist they will not display flags or tifos until the matter is resolved.
The group even accused Crystal Palace of “sabotaging” their own supporters.
Now – with no resolution yet to take place – the Holmesdale Fanatics have decided to launch a campaign to “restore the Holmesdale” by filling the lower tier with hand flags.
The HF05 wrote on X: “Crowdfunder now open for hand flags across the Holmesdale for every home game. The Palace support is the lifeblood of the club and we will fight to maintain our identity and culture
“Please back this campaign as together we restore the Holmesdale”.
Crystal Palace must sort this out
It baffles us to see Steve Parish prioritise a strip of LED advertising over a supporter group who have become world famous for their dedication to Crystal Palace.
The HF05 put in untold amounts of work to create an atmosphere at Selhurst Park, which includes getting together to build giant displays in their own time, and with no funding from Crystal Palace either.
Ironically, Crystal Palace have even used these displays and tifos in season ticket advertising before, so it is disappointing to see this disagreement materialise.
Hopefully, the banner is restored soon, and Oliver Glasner can witness Selhurst Park at its raucous best.
