Crystal Palace fans often make themselves heard loud and clear.

All four sides of Selhurst Park – typically the Holmesdale Road End more than most – help to create a vibrant atmosphere for home games, while the Holmesdale Fanatics also do a tremendous job in constructing enormously captivating displays, as seen already this season.

Sadly, it has not been much of an exciting campaign so far.

However, Crystal Palace fans rarely turn on their own – instead opting to display a sense of humour and togetherness amid tough times – which is exactly what supporters have now done amid a winless start to the 2024/25 Premier League campaign.

Crystal Palace fans construct hilarious chant amid winless streak

As you may recall, Crystal Palace fans were able to bellow out the chant of “three points again, ole ole” at the end of last season, after winning six of the final seven Premier League games.

It was a jubilant time for all associated with the club as Oliver Glasner made himself a hero.

Now – however – that chant has been jovially amended to “no points again, ole ole” after suffering three defeats from six Premier League games so far this season, with no wins.

You can see evidence of this below as fans made their way home from Goodison Park last week, after Everton fought back from 1-0 down to secure a 2-1 win.

Oliver Glasner will not have the patience of Crystal Palace fans forever

At the moment, Glasner has plenty of credit in the bank after a stunning end to last season.

We Are Palace understand Steve Parish is also willing to give Glasner time to turn the situation around, as a show of gratitude for the Austrian rejecting Bayern Munich in April.

However, the 50-year-old cannot live off last season forever, and after six Premier League outings so far, it is clear that some things must change.

For a start, Eddie Nketiah needs to be deployed centrally, rather than on the right flank, a position he only ever made ten appearances in for Arsenal.

Tony Cascarino even believes Nketiah will be unhappy with his new position.

Furthermore, Daichi Kamada has not impressed Crystal Palace fans, and Glasner needs to rethink using the Japan international in a No.6 role at the base of midfield, when his best moments have come in attacking midfield.

Hopefully, Crystal Palace will get out of this rut soon.
