Ismaila Sarr has been establishing himself as a starter for Crystal Palace in recent weeks and impressing in doing so.
It was a tough start to life as an Eagles player for Ismaila Sarr as he was initially benched for Eddie Nketiah on the right side.
For Sarr, his star truly arrived for Crystal Palace against Aston Villa when he scored and assisted in the 2-2 draw last month at Villa Park.
He followed this up with an impressive performance against Newcastle in the 1-1 draw as he created two chances in the game while being a constant threat.

Now, the Senegalese winger has been discussing what it is like to have Glasner as a manager at Crystal Palace.
How Oliver Glasner is helping Ismaila Sarr
As Sarr looks set to continue his role as a starter throughout December, now he has discussed how Glasner has been so helpful to him this season.

Speaking to club media, Sarr explained the relationship he has with the boss and what the Austrian has done to help him improve.
“From the beginning, he [Glasner] didn’t want to force things. Because I didn’t do pre-season with the team, he wanted me to feel good physically. He prepared me for that. Physically, he helped me a lot with that.
“[He’s helped me] on the field too: how to position myself, how to lose markers, how to make deep runs… and finishing too. When I do things [wrongly], he tells me what I should have done. When I do it, I succeed.
“At the beginning, I told him: ‘I need a coach who, when I do something, corrects me, because I need that.’ I believe he does it well. I thank him for that.”

Sarr proving to be a superb signing for Crystal Palace
This season, Sarr was handed the impossible task of replacing Michael Olise.
While not living up to the impossible standards set by the Frenchman, Sarr has quietly been having an encouraging season for the Eagles.
| Stat per 90 | # | Percentile |
| Goals | 1 | 38th |
| Assists | 1 | 35th |
| Expected assists | 2.17 | 84th |
| Chances created | 12 | 57th |
| Dribbles | 4 | 22nd |
| Fouls won | 14 | 76th |
As he plays more and the Eagles improve logical thinking would suggest his stats will improve. But for those who watch the Eagles weekly, Sarr is regularly the standout performer.
Glasner is having quite the impact on Sarr, so hopefully he will continue to do so going forward.
