Crystal Palace are preparing to face Everton this weekend at Goodison Park, and now Oliver Glasner has shared the team news.

The search for a first win of the Premier League season is continuing for Crystal Palace after drawing 0-0 with Manchester United at Selhurst Park.

It sees Oliver Glasner’s Eagles sitting just above the relegation zone precariously balanced with three points from five games.

Luckily for Crystal Palace, this weekend will be against a side sitting 19th in the league – presenting as good a chance as any to pick up three points.

Now, ahead of the game, Glasner has shared some team news.

Oliver Glasner shares Trevoh Chalobah fitness update

Prior to Crystal Palace’s trip to Everton, Glasner has a handful of team news and not all of it was positive.

As quoted by South London Press, Glasner shared updates on Matheus Franca, Trevoh Chalobah, Chris Richards and also Ismaila Sarr.

“[Franca and Chalobah] are available, but Franca won’t be in the squad after it was his first complete week with us.

“After almost six months, it would be unfair for him to be in the squad – but he feels well and he has no problems.

“Trevoh will be win the squad, and he is available, but we lost Chris Richards this week. He is not available for the next week as he has a hamstring injury.

“The other players are available. It’s Cheick Doucouré and Chadi Riad who can’t play, but the others had a good week.”

It was also added that Sarr was unable to train on Wednesday because of an ‘unserious’ issue with his ankle, although he wasn’t mentioned as an absence.

How Crystal Palace could line-up vs Everton

With the latest injury news, we know Glasner will have to make changes from the squad he fielded against United.

Chalobah is the main change as we expect he could be in line for a start and his Crystal Palace debut due to Richards’ absence.

If Sarr is able to play, we would imagine he absolutely will considering he has been very impressive this season when given a chance from the bench.

This early in the season, this game is absolutely must-win for the Eagles and so we expect Glasner to go as strong as he possibly can.
