Daichi Kamada age and height
Daichi Kamada was born on August 5th, 1997, which makes him 28 years old at the time of writing and around the peak of his playing career.
He comes in at a height of approximately 1.84 metres or six foot and zero inches, which makes him a relatively tall presence.
What position does Daichi Kamada play?
Throughout his career, Kamada has played as a midfielder, often in a more advanced role to help create chances for his teammates.
The Japanese international is capable of playing in a deeper midfield position if required, but he will often be orchestrating attacks.
What is Daichi Kamada’s playing style?
Kamada is at his most effective when finding space to infiltrate between the lines of opposition defenders, picking out areas that are tough to pick up on.
While the attacking midfielder is right-footed, he is rather ambidextrous, which makes it tough for defenders to know where to mark the space around him.
With a good ability to find space and an unpredictable side to his attacking game, he is an asset that could take Crystal Palace to the next level.

Daichi Kamada to Crystal Palace transfer
Crystal Palace announced the signing of Kamada on July 1st, 2024 on a free transfer from Serie A side Lazio.
The Japanese international signed a two-year deal, which will keep him at the club until 2026 at the very least.
Lazio fume at Daichi Kamada exit
Lazio sporting director Angelo Fabiani hit out in an interview with Lazio Style Channel, saying: “Yesterday [May 30th], the time for renewal expired and they [Kamada’s camp] asked us to propose the same conditions again but we found ourselves faced with something unexpected great rudeness.
“I don’t let anyone blackmail me, I calmly said that I wasn’t interested in discussing this ‘extortion’.
“These gentlemen, agents and footballers, must understand that whoever comes to Lazio must embrace the project and love Lazio.”
Oliver Glasner and Daichi Kamada reunite
The move to Selhurst Park for Kamada has seen the midfielder reunite with Crystal Palace boss Glasner.
The pair worked with one another during their time at Eintracht Frankfurt, which ended with a Europa League trophy triumph.
Under Glasner, Kamada scored 25 goals and laid on 12 assists to his teammates, making 93 appearances for the Austrian manager.
