Why Wilfried Zaha is likely to make Crystal Palace history against Leicester

SAKA, ANTONY AND 10 PREMIER LEAGUE STARS HEADING TO THEIR FIRST WORLD CUP

There aren’t many Premier League records Wilfried Zaha doesn’t hold when it comes to Crystal Palace.

The 28-year-old has made the most Premier League appearances for Crystal Palace with 237 to his name.

Zaha has also amassed the most Premier League wins in Crystal Palace’s history with 77 – three ahead of Joel Ward.

Unsurprisingly, he’s also our all-time top scorer in the Premier League with 49 goals, and he is likely to make history against Leicester tomorrow.

What’s the situation?

Well, if Zaha scores against Leicester tomorrow, he will become the first player in Crystal Palace’s history to score 50 top-flight goals.

Not Premier League goals. Top-flight goals. It’s quite a big deal, in our view.

So, why is this likely to happen? As you may know, the Ivory Coast international simply loves scoring against Leicester.

In 18 appearances against the Foxes, Zaha has netted seven goals.

Apart from his eight strikes against Brighton, our No.11 has scored against Leicester more than any other club throughout his career.

In that respect, there’s a good chance of it happening again.

Zaha has also scored two goals in three games at Selhurst Park this season, so he’s clearly been packing his shooting boots for home games.

Hopefully, he can reach the landmark and also secure us a win, to round off a potentially perfect game in SE25 tomorrow afternoon.
